「史記」について　-About “The Scribe’s Records”

「史記」に関しては、宮城谷さんや伴野さんの小説や、台湾の漫画家の鄭問さんの作品で接してきた程度でしたが、今回初めて「史記」そのものを読んでいます。キッカケは武田泰淳さんの「司馬遷 -史記の世界-」です。この本は、冒頭から「司馬遷は生き恥さらした男である。・・・」と、ドラマチックな書き出しで始まります。司馬遷その人の背景や想い、「史記」の構成等について書かれています。「史記」を読み解く上での格好の参考書と思います。

I knew “The Scribe’s Records” with a novel of Mr. Masamitsu Miyagitani and Mr. Rou Tomono and a work of Taiwanese comic artist Mr. Zheng Wei. I read “The Scribe’s Records” for the first time now. It is an opportunity to have read “Sima Qian -The World of The Scribe’s Records-” of Mr. Taijyun Takeda. As for this book, “Sima Qian is the dishonor man who exposed it”; begin to appear. The beginning of this book is dramatic, but a career of Sima Qian, structure of “The Scribe’s Records” are written. I think it to be a suitable reference book on reading “The Scribe’s Records”.「史記」は「二十三史」に先んじた史書です。神話に近い話から司馬遷が生きた漢代までの諸侯の栄枯盛衰とそれに関わる複雑な人間模様が、多次元的に書き綴られています。単なる史書にとどまらず、政治や人間関係、人間としての生き方といった事柄が史実をもとに書かれており、ある意味哲学的な内容を含んだ古代書と私は思います。「史記」を読むことで、私は古代人の英知の高さを感じるとともに、今の昔も人間の考えや行動はなにも変わらないということに感心するばかりです。

“The Scribe’s Records” is the Chinese oldest history book. The rise and fall of the countries from a myth to Han charges, complicated human relations are written in it. Politics, human relations, the way of life of the human being are written along a historical fact. I right think it to be philosophical contents. I understand high wisdom of the ancients, the present human thought and action not to change in old days either from “The Scribe’s Records”.司馬遷は生きることへの苦悩の中で「史記」を完成させました。そのような状況だからこそ、このような書物を完成させられたのだと武田さんはおっしゃっています。二千年を超えて今なお教えを与えてくれる「史記」は、名著の中の名著ではないでしょうか。

Sima Qian completed “The Scribe’s Records” in a suffering to live for. Because it is such situation, Mr. Takeda says that “The Scribe’s Records” was completed. I think “The Scribe’s Records” to be the famous book in the famous book which continues giving “teaching” to a human being more than 2,000 years.

今更だけど、アイキャッチの画像は鄭問が書いた”阿鼻劍”の編劇を担当した馬利の挿絵。3年前に台北で購入した”阿鼻劍”の第一部の巻の最後に同じ挿絵が載ってて気づいた。鄭問の挿絵はこちら。

It’s late, but the eye-catch image is Ma Li who edited “Abi-Sword”. I noticed it in the illustration of “Abi-Sword” which I bought in Taipei three years ago. Below is Chen Uen.当時、中山駅から地下道に長く連なる誠品書店で見つけた”阿鼻劍”2冊。当然繁体字であり、精読は困難。ただ、変換されてないオリジナルとしての魅力がある。

At that time, I found “Abi-Sword” at Eslite, which is a long underground passage from Zhongshan Station. Of course, it is in traditional Chinese characters, and it is difficult to read carefully. However, it has its charm as an original.
