アラフィーの再出発 -Re-start on a voyage of “Ara-Fie”
模型は、個人で楽しむ趣味です。そのような趣味はどうしても陰気になりがちですが、陰気か陽気か自体は主観的なもので、模型趣味そのものを陰気と定義付ける根拠はないと思います。
Modelling is a personal hobby. It is apt to become gloomy. But, “gloom” and “cheerful” are subjective. Modelling thinks it that there is not it despite gloom unconditionally.
屁理屈はここまでとして、一人で黙々と模型製作に没頭するのも良いのですが、この歳になると、同じ趣味を持つ仲間と語らいたいと思うのです。私がこのブログ上で模型ビジネスとかフォーラム運営と書くのはそれが理由です。
Let’s stop the quibbling. It is good to enjoy modelling alone. But, I want to talk with the friend of the same hobby when I get old. It is a reason it that I write as model business or forum administration on this blog.
最近はどのメーカーもレベルアップして、キットの出来具合にそん色はあまりなくなってきましたが、模型はメーカーによって品質だけでなく個性もあるため様々なのです。巷に出回っているキットをすべて作れるわけはないのですが、おそらく作りたいキットすらすべて作ることはできないでしょう。
All model makers are improved recently. There are few differences in the quality level of the kit. But, a kit has the original personality of each maker as well as quality. I cannot all make the kit in the market. Probably I may not all make the kit which I want to make.
そんな手掛けることができないキットも誰かが手掛けます。次に作りたいキットを絞るのも、そういった作った経験を聞き、決めることも多いはずです。モデラー同士の会話は、モデラーの意欲や好奇心を刺激する有益かつ陽気な活動なのです。そんな場所を私は作ります。そしてその場でモデラーのためになる様々な試みを行ってみたいのです。
Somebody makes the kit which I do not make. It often depends on modelling experience to decide the kit which I want to make. The conversation between modelers stimulates modelling will and the curiosity of modelers. And it is the activity that is high value and cheerful. I make such a place. And it is to want to try that the modeler is useful.
情報交換の場から、製作サポート、テクニック紹介、共同ジオラマ、コンテスト、キット調達、自作キット販売と。そこでは一人で楽しむよりもっと価値のある楽しみを得られるのです。私も50代になって久しいのですが、これまで自分が最も楽しんでいる、この模型を表看板に掲げたことは一度もありません。自分が好きなのだから何よりもやる気が出るテーマなのにです。
Information exchange, production support, a technique introduction, a joint diorama, a contest, the kit purchase and one’s own kit sale. I think much pleasure to be provided much more than I enjoy it alone. There is never that I talked with many people about modelling even if I become in my 50s. Because it is a favorite thing, it is the theme that I want to study than what kind of thing.
もうそろそろ自分の本当に好きなことをやってみては？よく聞く言葉です。だからこそ人生の重要な道しるべの言葉なのだと思います。できないのはやらないだけ。やってできないことはないのです。そろそろ人生のギアチェンジをします。それが「アラフィーの再出発」ということなのです。
＊「アラフィー」とは日本で10年ほど前に流行った造語。アラサーやアラフォーと同じく「around fifty」の意。
“Why don’t you do one’s favorite thing?” It is words to hear well. I think that it is the words of the important guidepost of the life. Because what I do not have does not do it. I do it and may do it. I change the gear of my life soon. It is “Re-start on a voyage of Ara-Fie”.
＊The coined word that was popular in Japan with “Ara-Fie” approximately ten years ago. It is mean of “around fifty” as well as “Ara-Sah”, “Ara-Foh”.
VCが1,000前後のブログで声をあげても、なかなかリアクションは得られないのは承知です。でも、やらねば何も生まれません。一緒に私の考えるアラフィーの再出発に賛同する方、いませんか？
