969製作日記 9 US Pioneer Wrecker Vol.9
サイドミラーをつけてドアとfigureを固定。ネットでデカールと同じナンバーの969を見つけた。あくまでも参考まで。模型にはイマジネーションが重要だ。
Glue both side mirrors, and glue the driver door and figure. I found 969 pictures with the same number as the decals on the Internet. However, it is for reference only. I think imagination is important for modeling.
と、言うことでデカールを貼る。この作業は相変わらず苦戦の連続。
Then, put the decal on it. This work is always difficult.
ボンネットは片側を開いた状態にする予定だけど、ここまでで一旦休憩。次の課題を検討しようと思う。
The bonnet will be open on one side, but I will take a break. I will consider the next kit I want to make.
前回のブログに書いた「エベレスト」が、たまたまナショジオの今月号の特集になっていた。数年前に「沈黙の山嶺」を図書館から借りて読んだが、今は一般人でも登頂する最高峰が、100年弱前までは山頂がいかに遠かったかがうかがえた。この本を読むと、ヒラリー、テンジンには申し訳ないがマロリー、アーヴィンが初登頂であってほしかったと思う。
“Everest,” which I wrote in my previous blog, happened to be a feature of this month’s issue of National Geographics. I borrowed “Into the Silence” from the library a few years ago and read it. Now it is the highest peak that even ordinary people can climb, but I thought how far the peak was 100 years ago. After reading this book, I thought that I wanted Mallory and Irvine to be the first climbs.
