HUMVEEを作ろう！ 2 -I make a HUMVEE 2
車内が完成しましたので、シャーシ含めて塗装に入ります。M24では基本色をスプレー塗装しましたが、ソフトスキンはすべて基本筆塗で進めます。組んでから塗ると筆がとどかないところが出るのでこのくらい組んだところで塗装するのが無難です。今回は下地処理せず塗装します。エッチングパーツを組んだときとかは下地処理しますが、AFVでは私はあまり下地処理しません。NATO色は近似色であわせました。この辺はイメージ優先で進めます。
Because the inside of car was completed, I begin the painting. I sprayed a basic color in M24, but all the soft skin paints it by writing brush coat. Because there is the part which I cannot paint when I begin the painting after assembling all, I am assembling it and begin the painting. I begin the painting without spraying surfacer. I spray surfacer on the etching parts, but I do not spray surfacer on AFV. I matched the NATO color with an approximate color. I give priority to an image about the coloring.
ガラス部分は、はめ込む前に枠にラッカー系のタイヤブラックを塗ります。透明部品の接着には流し込み接着剤は使わず、エポキシ系かスチロール樹脂入り接着剤を使用します。それでも接着剤の光沢は残ります。車体色はサンド系としますが、実車写真を見ると下回りから車体色のものもあればそうでないものもあります。下回りはセミグロスブラックで塗ることにします。Mk19はいまいちイメージではないのでブローニングM2に交換します。M24の残パーツにM2があったのでそれを使いたいと思います。
The glass part paints a frame in tire black before fitting it. I do not use the styrene resinless adhesive for the adhesion. I always use epoxy based or adhesive with styrene resin. But, still luster of the adhesive is left. I paint the body with a color of desert origin. With the photograph of HUMVEE, a chassis and the body may not be the same colors. I paint all the chasses in semi-gross black. I change Mk19 for Browning automatic M2. Because there was cool M2 in unnecessary parts of M24, I use it.
だいぶ冬らしく寒くなってきました。以前こんな寒い時期にうちの息子たちはウォータースタートの練習をさせられてました。ドライスーツを着ていても海に浸かるのですから冷たかったはずです。ドライスーツも何度も修理しましたが、ゴムの劣化等は対処のしようがありません。以前絶対水漏れしないブーツを米軍が募集してましたが、水漏れしないドライスーツも作れないものでしょうか？
It became quite cold like winter. Our sons were made to do the yacht exercise of the water start before at such a cold time. Even if they wore a dry suit, it should have been cold to soak in the sea. I repaired the dry suit many times, but the deterioration of the rubber has no way of dealing. The United States Armed Forces raised the boots which never leak water before, but is the dry suit which does not leak water a thing not to be able to make?
