HUMVEEを作ろう！ 1 -I make a HUMVEE 1
久々に「Black Hawk Down」を見ました。2001年、監督はリドリー・スコット、もう15年も前の映画です。1993年のOperation GOTHIC SERPENTがベース。「はたして民族紛争への他国の干渉は本当に正義なのだろうか？」。「人間の価値観は一律ではないと思うのだが・・・」。そんなことを思いつつ見ていたら、映画の中で疾走するHUMVEEを作りたくなりました。またまた衝動的な動機にかられての寄り道です。
I watched “Black Hawk Down” after a long absence. This movie was released in 2001. The supervisor is Ridley Scott. The base of this movie “Operation GOTHIC SERPENT” in 1993. “Is the interference of other countries to ethnic battle justice?” . “I think that the human sense of values is not flat”. I watched this movie while thinking of such a thing. And I wanted to make HUMVEE which ran at full speed in a movie. It is the side trip by an impulsive motive.
このキットはリリース直後の2003年に入手したままです。あらためてパーツの状態を見ると、想像以上にシャープです。付属のFigureもうまく塗装すれば十分使えそうです。アクスルユニットパーツになにげなくフロントとリアのガイドが刻印されていました。これは間違いを防いでくれる処理でとてもありがたい配慮です。作りやすさだけでなく、こういった配慮もタミヤが一流の評価に値する企業である所以だと思います。
I purchased this kit in 2003. The state of parts is very sharp. Attached Figure is usable enough if I paint it well. Axle unit parts have the mark of front parts and rear parts. These marks preventing a mistake are very valuable consideration. Not only it is easy to make it, but also thinks that such a consideration is the reason that Tamiya is a leading corporation.
作り出したらあっという間にシャーシ周りが完成してしまいました。パーツ処理含めてここまでの組み立てが約１時間ちょっとです。私にしてはこれは早すぎる作業ペースです。すべてのパーツが、複雑な構成であるにもかかわらず不思議なほどにピタリと合います。これは作っていて快適なのです。趣味とはいえ、根気がいるところは精神的にシビアになることもあります。しかし、このキットはそのような辛さをまったく感じさせないほど、パーツの完成度が高く、そのため組み立てが非常に楽しいのです。タミヤキットが持つ他社キットとはひと味違う模型に込められた思想を感じます。
A chassis has been completed in a short time after I began to make it. It is to this state and is completion in approximately one hour. It is too early for me. It is fixed so as to be mysterious though all parts are complicated constitution. This makes it and is comfortable. Despite a hobby, the place where there is perseverance may become severe mentally. But, this kit is not severe mentally. The completeness of parts is high, and therefore assembling is very fun. I feel the thought to a model unlike the other companies kit in the Tamiya kit.
