キルトを塗ります。シャープペンシルで白ストライプの位置を目見当でマーキングします。そのマーキングの間の中央に、1/2幅でフラットブルーのラインを縦横に描きます。右上にキルトの合わせを止めるピンのモールドがあります。合わせ位置でのキルトのパターンは若干ズラします。
Let’s start the painting of the kilt. I mark white stripe by freehand with a mechanical pencil. I draw a flat blue line in the center between the markings by 1/2 width. The right of the kilt has the mold of the pin. The pattern of the kilt slips off there.
残りのスペースにフラットグリーンのラインを縦横に描きます。フラットブルーのライン上にも重ねて描きます。
The remaining area draws a flat green line.
マッケンジーキルトはもっと複雑なパターンなので実際にはこれより暗めに見えます。その辺は白と赤のストライプを入れた後、調整します。
The Mackenzie pattern looks gloomier because it is complicated. After having drawn white and red stripe, I adjust it.
白と赤のストライプを入れます。一通りキルトの前身頃が塗り終わりました。
I draw white and red stripe. The painting of the front section of the kilt was finished.
あとはプリーツのある後ろ身頃も同じように塗装し、色の濃淡と線幅を調整します。あくまでも我流の塗装法です、あしからず。
I paint the back of the kilt with pleats in the same way. I regulate the light and shade of the color and linewidth. This is paintwork of own way.
