ポスターはクリアスプレーを吹き、瞬間接着剤で貼る。接着跡が裏面から見えるが仕方ない。しかし筆塗ムラが汚い。墨入れ後、重ね塗り必須。
Some posters are sprayed with clear and then glued with super glue, but you can see the glue marks on the back. However, the unevenness of the brush is dirty. After inking, recoating is required.
車体はパネルの組み合わせだが、これが難しい。歪みを矯正しながら組んでも、合わせが微妙に狂う。この時点で仮組すると４つの車輪が接地しない。上手く調整できるのだろうか？
The car body combines many panels, but this is difficult. Even if it is assembled while correcting the distortion, the alignment will be slightly out of order. When the car body and the wheel part are temporarily assembled, the four wheels do not touch the ground. Can it be adjusted well?
車内は組立ながら塗装するので、墨入れやウォッシングも行う。これも面倒な作業。パネルが歪んでいるが大丈夫か？
Since the inside of the car is painted while assembling, inking and washing are done at the same time. This is also a tedious task. The panel in the photo is distorted, is that okay?
小学生の夏休みはいつも祖父母の家に泊まりに行っていた。或る年、近所からSLの模型製作を頼まれたことがあったが、小学生には難しいキット。完成品は塗装もせず、どう見ても駄作。それでも喜んで受け取ってくれた。このトラムカーを作っていると当時の思いが蘇るのだ。
During my elementary school summer vacation, I always went to stay at my grandparents’ house. One year, a family in the neighborhood asked me to make a model of a steam locomotive, but it was a difficult kit for elementary school students. The finished product is not painted, and it is no good at all. Still, the family in the neighborhood was happy to receive it. When I make this tram car, this memory of those days revives.
