圧延鋼板は、表面に若干薄いシボ加工がされているように見える。これは塗装で消えてしまうレベルと思うので500番の溶きパテで表面を粗した。

The surface of the rolled steel plate appears to have a slight texture, but I think this will disappear with paint, so I roughened the surface with #500 putty.久々の挟み込み転輪製作、足周りは塗装しながら組み立てることにする。あれ？サスが左右で違う!

The suspension is painted as it is assembled. I noticed that the left and right suspensions are facing different directions.TigerⅠも違ってた。この辺は記憶にないくらい昔に作った、ということ。

I checked and found that Tiger I was also different. I had forgotten about it because I made it a long time ago.転輪の軸がだいぶ暴れているが大丈夫だろうか？

I’m worried because the road wheels are off-axis.並行してタミヤ製Sturmtigerを製作する。

At the same time I am building a Tamiya Sturmtiger.SturmtigerもPanther Gも大戦末期の車両。Sturmtigerは、破損車両の流用で18両しか作られてない。オール鋼鉄転輪といい、モロ末期感が強い。

Both the Sturmtiger and the Panther G were produced towards the end of the war. Only 18 Sturmtigers were produced, using the damaged “Tiger I”. The all-steel road wheels also give the impression of the end of the war.今週の日曜は、通称三浦アルプスを縦走、と言いたいところだがいろいろあって踏破できなかった。場所は逗子と葉山と横須賀の境のイノシシが出るところ。

Last Sunday, we went trekking to the so-called “Miura Alps”. However, we were unable to complete the course. The location is on the border between Zushi, Hayama and Yokosuka. There are wild boars there.手持ち地図が役に立たず、迷うこと二度。変更ルートが、ほぼ”けもの道”。今回のコースは急坂の上り下り。三浦の岩盤地質のため滑りやすく根上がりが多くて歩きにくい。

The map was no help and we got lost twice. The route we changed to was an “animal trail”! The course was up and down a steep slope. Due to the rocky geology of Miura, it was slippery and difficult to walk because of the many raised roots.途中から腿上が張り、ほぼ歩行不能。運動不足と過体重を実感した。
