オースティンミニ製作記 2　-The modeling of Austin MINI vol.2

組み立てはさくさくと進みます。さすがTAMIYAです。ただやはりシャフトの4輪保持が不安定で納得いきません。思い切って全て接着固定してしまいました。今回初の試みのシートパターン自作を行います。まずはパソコンでタータンチェックを作成。これにはパターン作成サイトhttp://www.tartanmaker.comを利用しました。オリジナルタイルを作成してダウンロード、そのデータをペイントソフトで配置するCAD作業です。CADはむかし仕事でもやってましたが、当時は根を詰めた仕事ばかりでうんざりでしたが、趣味で利用する限りでは楽しいものです。やはり趣味と仕事は別物ですね。

The assembling process advances smoothly. As is expected, it is a product of TAMIYA. However, four tires are not stable. For cancellation of this irritation, I have bonded each tire to the shaft. I create the seat pattern that is this first trial by myself. At first I make the tartan check of the base of the pattern with a PC. I used a public website for the making of the original pattern. ⇒http://www.tartanmaker.com. I make an original pattern tile and download it. I perform CAD of the data by painting software. I did CAD by work in old days. I hated the CAD when it was work, but the CAD by the hobby is fun. After all a hobby and the work are another thing.このパターンを市販のデカール自作シートに印刷するのですが、厚紙に染料印刷してのり付きフィルムを貼り合わせることで印刷だけが転写できるとのこと。どうも原理が十分理解できていないので本当にうまくいくのかが心配です。所定のサイズに切り取り、フィルムを剥がして貼り付けますが、フィルムののりが印刷面に移動して印刷側がシール状態になりました。貼り付けたままで台紙に水を染み込ませるとするりと台紙と印刷部分が分離して、みごとに印刷がデカールとして張り付きました。すごい。ちょっと驚き。

I print this pattern on a cardboard for decare making. I print dye on a cardboard, and decare is completed by putting a film with the paste. Because I do not understand a principle for some reason, it is worry. I begin to talk to size desired and I tear off a film and stick it on parts. The paste of the film moved to a print side, and the print side became the seal state. A mount and a print part separated smoothly when they let water soak into a mount with sticking it. Decare was completed wonderfully. Splendid! I am amazed to learn!気になった点は、水の含ませ方次第でデカールに水が残り印刷を崩してしまいます。そのため気泡抜きというか水抜きが困難と思いました。押さえれば凹凸に馴染むとの注意書きがありますが、ちょっと難しいと思います。あとは私の使用したシートは印刷とデカールがミラー反転しますので、データ印刷時に注意が必要です。今回の試みは今後の応用が考えられるので有益な試みでした。デカール自作ができるとデカール貼が苦手な私には新天地が開けた思いです。

I worked and have been interested. If there is much water, water is left in the decare and breaks print. Therefore it is difficult to remove air bubbles and water. As for the seat which I used, decare reverses a mirror. Attention is necessary in data print. Because I could apply it in various ways, this trial was useful. For me who am weak in decare work, this technique is very nice.課題は色再現です。パソコンの色再現と印刷の微妙な違いが出ます。これだけ小さいものだとイメージどおりに行きません。今回ももう少し緑を強く出したかったのですが、青が勝ってしまいました。そのためちょっとカジュアルなシートカラーになってしまいました。タータンチェックを選択しましたがパターンがこのサイズでは複雑過ぎたかなと思います。色やバランスの構成を変えればもう少し良くなるのかもしれませんので研究が必要です。

A problem is color reproduction. A delicate difference appears between PC color reproduction and print. Because it is small, it does not reappear according to the image. I wanted to make green strong this time, but blue became strong. Therefore it has become the slightly casual seat color. I chose a tartan check, but I think whether this pattern was too complicated. However, a study is necessary because it may become a little better if I change constitution of a color and the balance.
