ハッチやペリスコープ周りの“剣山バリケード”。悪さ（梱包爆薬）されないためだろうけど…、どうも禍々しい。ちなみに“剣山”は日本の華道で使う生花を立てる道具。
“The Kenzan barricade” around all hatches and periscopes. They are for defense, but are terrible. “Kenzan” is so-called pinholder. It is a tool of the flower arrangement of Japan. 
金網のエッチングもあるようだが、あえて剣山にする。0.4mmφの穴を空けて、0.2mmφx約5mmの真鍮線をクギとして植える。5mmは少し長いかな？
I set a brass line of 0.2mmφx5mm in the hole of 0.4mm φ in large quantities. 
土嚢。これも磁気地雷防御にだいぶ使用されたようだ。最近は優れものの素材がいろいろある。荷物を車体に密着させるには良さそう。
This is a sandbag. There are various kinds of superior material recently. It looks good to let much baggage fit the body.
木板（隔壁式装甲）の塗装は現地で砂を混ぜての直塗りだったようだ。剥げて生木が露出した表現、どうするか。
I think that the soldiers of the battle front painted some wooden armor plates. The painting has difficult expression that is in condition to have come off.
顔や腕はコントラストを意識して塗装するが、明度を上げてもう少し生気を出したい。これもテクニックが必要だな。
If contrast is strong, the painting of the skin is difficult. Technique is necessary here.
