Now let’s return to the main subject

防楯下部は切断して折り畳み状態に変更しました。これでぬかるみを牽引しても防楯を引きずることはありません。ベースには若干上り傾斜をかける予定ですので車輪を地面にめり込ませます。この程度のクリアランスがないと牽引は出来ないと思います。

The lower part shield cut it and folded it. Even if a soldier pulls mud in this, a soldier does not trail a shield. Because the base goes up by a few and runs the slope, the wheel sinks into the ground. If a shield and the ground do not have space, the soldier cannot pull the gun.日本兵は塗装をし直しです。豊橋にあるファインモールドは旧軍関連のキットが多いのですが、他にもユニークなキットを出しています。1/72のスターウォーズ　ミニレアミファルコンとか。日本兵、というかアジア人は頭も身体も骨格的に西洋人とは大きく異なるため、既存の西洋人ベースのキットからの改造は難しいです。日本兵として海外のメーカーからも少数ですが出ていますが、やはり日本のメーカーが作ったもの、日本人が彫刻したものがベストと思います。

I paint the Japanese soldier again. There are many kits of the Japanese military in Finemold in Toyohashi, but there is the kit which, besides, is unique. It is, for example, Millennium Falcon of 1/72 Star Wars. The Asian head and body are greatly different from a Westerner. It is difficult to reorganize it to an Asian from figure of the Westerner. Japanese figure of the Japanese maker is better than Japanese figure of the overseas maker. After all I think that Japanese figure of the Japanese sculpture is the best.

ちょっと余談ですが、M24のパーツが小さく、製作にはだいぶ苦労しましたが、便利なツールが助けてくれました。精密ピンセットと眼鏡型ルーペです。精密ピンセットは先端部の合にブレがなく正確ですので、パーツを飛ばすことなく保持できます。また眼鏡型ルーペはハズキルーペ。これはフィギュア塗装のために購入していたのですが、両手を使って拡大視認できるので非常に便利です。いずれもロートルの私には模型製作寿命を延ばしてくれるこれらのツールは神の恵みです。

It is a digression. Because parts of M24 were small, I had trouble with assembling considerably. However, a convenient tool helped me. It is precision tweezers and glasses type loupe. I was able to handle parts properly when I used precision tweezers. The glasses type loupe used “Hazuki loupe”. I purchased this for the figure painting. I can work with both hands when I use this. It is very convenient with both tools. These tools extended my model life. These are blessings.
