AFV’s M113A1 AC/AV vol.2
気づくと今年も既にGW突入の時期。コロナ疲れもあるが自宅にいる時間が長くなったにもかかわらず、ここまでに製作したキットはこのM113A1ACAVとSd.kfz7/1のみ。Sd.kfz7/1なぞは完成までも漕ぎ着けていない。このペースでは間違いなく自分の寿命までに在庫のキットは作りきれないだろう。先を急ごう。
It is already the time to enter Golden Week. Despite spending more time at home, I’ve only made M113A1 ACAV and Sd.kfz 7/1 this year. Sd.kfz7 / 1 is not yet complete. Probably not all my unmade kits will be made by the end of my life. Let’s hurry ahead.
アイドラーホイールの位置が左右で若干違う。右のキャタピラが一枚多い。それでも左右同じギヤ比でまっすぐは走るのか･･･。
The position of the idler wheel is slightly different on the left and right. Therefore, the right caterpillar is one more than the left caterpillar. However, if the left and right gear ratios are the same, it will run straight.
デカールが薄いため巻き込んで貼り付いてしまう。こうなるとなかなか元に戻せない。ニス部分の巻き込みは直せなかった。段差ができて見栄えが悪くなってしまった。
After all it is difficult to paste decals. Since the decal is thin, it wraps around from the edge. It’s hard to put it back when it’s wrapped around. The wrapping around the transparent part could not be fixed. Therefore, those decals become steps and shine.
指を使って台紙からデカールを移すやり方にも問題があったようで、今後は台紙から直接スライドさせる方法を取るべきだ。せっかくの完成キットをデーカルで台無しにするのはなんとも虚しいからね。
There was a problem with how to use my fingers to move the decals off the mount. I should do the way to slide the decal from the mount. It’s a pity that the completed kit is ruined by pasting the decals.
細かい部品が多く、組立には四苦八苦したがなんとか完成。塗装は墨入れとエナメル塗料のバフでのウォッシングのみ。もう少しウェザリングを施したいが、きりがなさそうなので、ここまでで一旦完成とする。
There were many small parts, and it was difficult to assemble, but it was completed. Only shadowing and washing. It doesn’t end when I start weathering. This is the end of the process.
今回は特段の追加加工もせずストレート組みでの製作だったが、十分な完成度と満足感があった。目玉が飛び出るほどの価格価値はそこにあったか、と勝手に納得する。
This time I assembled the kit as it is. However, I was able to obtain sufficient perfection and satisfaction. I was convinced that those were the values hidden in the amazing price.
