説明書の順番をスキップして動力部を組み立てる。金型がすべて二次元のためかパーツ分割が非常に多い。この辺はメーカーのこだわりを感じるところなのだが、組み立てには骨がおれる。
Skip the order of the instructions and assemble around the wheels. Since all parts are two-dimensional molds, there are many parts. Regarding this, I feel that the manufacturer is particular about the accuracy of the model. However, it is difficult to assemble.
車体前後それぞれを組み立てていた際は気にならなかったけど、つなぐと大きい。単体キットとしては今まで製作したものの中で最大だろう。出来上がる前からどこにしまおうかと、収納ばかり心配になる。
I didn’t mind when the front and rear parts of the car body were assembled separately, but it is big when the front and rear parts are connected. This is probably the biggest I’ve ever made. I’m just worried about where to store it before it’s finished.
民間車両なので塗装はユニークに。Liègeで使用されていた車両もいいが、モノトーンなので面白みに欠ける。青や赤のツートンはいかにも玩具っぽい。Nürnbergを走った緑系のツートンが渋めで良さそう。
Think about painting. The tram used in “Liège” is good, but it’s a monotone color, so it’s not interesting. Blue and red look like toys. The green tram of “Nürnberg” looks good.
指示書の指定色はOlive drab。暗すぎると思うので”鴬色”を探す。かろうじてMr.COLORのC384がイメージに近いようだ。
The instruction is specified as “Olive drab”. However, I think it’s too dark, so look for “greenish brown”. Mr. COLOR’s C384 seems to be barely close to my image.
地政学について・・・。社会情勢や歴史、政治がベースになるため、微妙な分野である。日本においては戦前、戦中の思想との関係から、戦後は学問的には扱いが難しい分野のようだ。結果から考えれば、そのような扱いも理解はできる。しかし、現在のロシアの行動を国際的観点で理解するには、純粋な意味での地政学的見識が必要なのだと思う。
About geopolitics … It is a delicate academic field because it is based on social conditions, history, and politics. In Japan, it seems to be an academically troublesome field after the war because of its relationship with prewar and wartime ideas. Given the results, such a situation is understandable. However, I think that geopolitical insight is needed to understand the current behavior of Russia from an international perspective.
