Belgian Infantryman の製作 -Brave-man of the Albert I
久々にメタルキットを組みます。選択したキットは「Belgian Infantryman 1914」。
assemble a metal kit. The kit which chose “Belgian Infantryman 1914”.
左手に球状の成形残りあり。取り除きます。
There is the spherical molding remainder to the left hand. I remove it.
銃剣の剣先が短いのでは？
This bayonet is short?
この兵士の小銃と同じですね。問題ないようです。
It is the same as the rifle of this soldier. I do not seem to have any problem.
ベースはカツラ材円柱。重さとバランスで50mmΦを選択。
The base is a column of Katsura. I choose 50mm Φ for weight and balance.
当時のベルギー兵の軍装の資料は、ほとんどモノクロです。
The document of the combat uniform of the Belgian soldier in WW1 is almost monochromatic. 
黒が基調ですが、いかに質感と立体感を表現できるかがポイントです。
As for the Belgian combat uniform, black is a basic tone. But, it is important how I can express feel of a material and a three-dimensional impression.
