ドライバーズシートは座面を削って低くしてAlpine Miniaturesのfigureを乗せる。
The driver’s seat is shaved and lowered to put an Alpine Miniatures figure on it.
ストレッチャーのパーツ。ちょっと木のベンチみたいで雑いな。
The stretcher parts in this kit look like wooden benches and are crude molds.
現物は広げたときにテンションがかかるようにステーが付いている。
The actual stretcher has stays that allow the seat to spread out when in use.
1.2mmφの真鍮棒で自作してみる。58㎜長の真鍮棒2本にティッシュペーパーを張り、溶きパテを塗る。乾いたところで真鍮シートで作ったスタンドとステーを取り付ける。
I will try to make the stretchers by myself with 1.2mm diameter brass rods. Put paper between two 58 mm long brass rods and apply melted putty. Then attach the stands and stays made from brass sheets.
模型小売店について…
末広町のミニチュアパークが閉店する。小売店はどこも個性ある貴重な存在だった。勤務先が近かったのでよく立ち寄った池袋のグラムモデル。物色していると店長が一緒にキットを探してくれた。雨の日は値下げ。彼はレジ奥の作業場でいつもキット製作をしていた。茅ケ崎のハル模型。無口な店主は時たま痰が絡むと大きな咳ばらいをした。客はそのたびにビクついていた。品ぞろえが良かった東神奈川の模型ラッキーも転々として結局、閉店。子供の頃よく行ったサトウ模型店ももうとっくになくなった。模型雑誌のごちゃごちゃした模型店の広告が好きだ。個性がどんどん消えていく。

It seems that the “Sato model shop” that I used to go to when I was a child closed a long time ago. I like model shop advertisements like Chaos in model magazines. It’s sad to see the individuality disappear.
