久々のM3 STUART 1 -Good old “M3 STUART” part1
だいぶ細かい作業が続き、肩も痼ってきたので、気楽に作れるもので気分転換したいところです。手頃なものはないかと在庫を物色していたところ、2-3年前懐かしさのあまり入手したタミヤのスポット生産 M3 STUARTがありました。
Because a shoulder was stiff by difficult modelling, I want to switch a feeling. I found limited production M3 STUART of Tamiya when looking for my stocks.
このキットは1974年初出のMM No.42というビンテージもの。初出とほぼ同時に製作の記憶がありますので、43年ぶりの製作です。40年以上前のキットということからだいぶ金型がヘタッて来ているようで、バリが目立ちます。
This kit is born in 1974. It is a vintage of Military Miniature No. 42. I remember that I made modelling with the birth of the kit. Therefore this kit performs modelling after an interval of 43 years. Because it is the kit more than 40 years ago, a die seems to become obsolete, and there is much flash.
組立て前の処理に比べれば組立ては簡単、ここまででパーツ数47pcs。さすがタミヤ、転輪がブレなく正確に固定接地されます。ただし誘導輪が１個だけセンターズレしていました（上の写真の後ろのもの）。
The assembling is simpler than processing before the assembling. The number of the parts is only 47pcs by the assembling to the state of this photograph. Tamiya is great. All road wheels ground exactly. But the one of the guide wheels deviated from the center (wheel of the tail).
問題はこのキャタピラー。気づかなければ良かったのだが、気づいてしまえばどうしようもありません。これではキャタピラーが繋がらないのです。
The biggest problem is this caterpillar tread. All track is not connected by this caterpillar tread. It is a design fault of Tamiya.
やむなくAFV ClubのT16 Trackを使用します。連結組立ては気が重いのですが、これは案外簡単な方だと思います。
Because there is no help for it, I use T16 Track of AFV Club. I hate a connection assembling caterpillar tread. But, I think this T16 to be simple.
