’58シボレーインパラ 1 -AMT’s 58 Chevy Impala Vol.1
結局、フライングです。Travantとpick-upのスミ入れどころか塗装もそっちのけでインパラの製作を始めてしまいました。それでも最近は作れるうちが花だと思い、着手しただけでも自分勝手に納得してしまうのです。3in1ということですが、私はSTOCKタイプを選択しました。エンジン組んで、長いマフラー２本を這わせてたのが下の写真。
I have made a premature start after all. I have begun production of IMPARA without doing the shadowing of Travant and PICK-UP. But. I think that it is enough if I want to make it. Therefore I understand what I made. I chose STOCK type by a type to make. I assembled an engine and glued two long mufflers together.
写真の下はメッキパーツ群、メッキ落としにはキッチン泡ハイターよりも液体のキッチンハイターの方がいいようです。バリやひけ、ピン跡がやけに多いですね。中国のどこで成形しているのでしょう？ボディには広東省東莞市とありますが。2015の刻印ですから成形そのものは新しいですね。
I tear off metal plate from metal plateing parts. Kitchen Haiter liquid than Kitchen Bubble Haiter is more effective to tear it off. There are many burr and sinkage, ejector pin mark. Will this mold it Chinese where? It is written as Guangdong Dongguan City on a body. Because it is printed with 2015, the molding is new.
足回りが組み終わりました。前輪はステアリングは切れますが、キングピンが不安定なので固定しました。後輪はサスペンションの抑えのパーツが歪んでいたため左右が揃わず、調整しての接着しました。それでも後輪は金属シャフトのおかげで前輪のように固定せずに済みました。
The front wheel performed a steering, but fixed it because a kingpin was unstable. Because suspension parts were warped as for the rear wheel, it does not keep the high right and left. Therefore I adjusted it. Because I tied the rear wheel with a metal shaft, I did not fix it like a front wheel.
それにしても細かいところはモールド表現が多く、ミラー等もなく、精密さは今ひとつといったところ。しかし、おそらく実車の雰囲気はとても良く出ているのだと思います。9月にアメリカレベルから58インパラがリリースされるようですが・・・。あまりつまらないことを考えずに進めましょう。
This kit has much mold expression of a small part. And there are not the parts such as mirrors, too. The precision is not good enough. However, I think that atmospheres of this car are expressed very well. 58IMPARA seems to be released in September by America Rebell,; but … I may keep thinking about a too dull thing.
ティムバートンのビッグアイズには、きれいなアメ車がたくさん登場していましたよ。今回のボディカラーはライトグリーンにでもしてみようと思っています。
