組み立てたエンジン部と車体下部をラッカー系スプレーで下地塗装しようと思い、タミヤカラーのレッドブラウンとジャーマングレイを在庫から探し出したのですが、このスプレー、何時使ったんだろう？試しに噴いたら、ブッシュシュシュ！ほぼ空のようです。それでも強引に噴きつけたところ、案の定、塗料が飛び散り厚盛りになってしまいました。
The groundwork paints an engine part and a body retainer with spray. I found out red brown and German gray from stock. But, when would I use this spray? If spray it for trial; “Bush chou chou!” . These seem to be approximately empty. Still after spraying it forcibly, after all paint was scattered, and paint has thickened.
ホイールに空いていた細い抜きも完全に埋まってしまいましたのでシンナーで落とします。それでもこのTRABANTをピッカピカに仕上げるつもりはないので、ここは使用感やレトロ感を出すため、全部落とすようなことはせず、うまく利用した方が良いでしょう。なんと言ってもリハビリですから。それでもAFVではないので、それなりには仕上げる必要があります。

内装は明るめにした方がいいと思いましたが、車体色のアイボリーホワイトとコントラストをつけたかったので指定そのままのブラウンで塗りました。シートはレザーイメージでサンディブラウンをつやを押さえて塗ってみました。スミ入れとウェザリングで立体感を出してみましたが、前部シートのスミ入れはキツ過ぎました。
I thought at first to make an interior decoration color a bright color, but did it in flat brown. I think that the interior decoration color has better brown for body-colored ivory white. The seat applied Sandy Brown for an image of the leather. I did shadowing and wethering to show a three-dimensional impression, but the shadowing of the front seat seemed to be too strong.
